Finding Nourishment for Your Journey

RECOMMENDATIONS AND RESOURCES

During your time in this program, you have made a journey of prayer and reflection. You have explored the holistic Celtic spiritual vision, which offers a profound and powerful testimony to the capacity of Christians to offer hope-filled alternatives to existing societies. You then made a personal journey through The Spiritual Exercises of Ignatius of Loyola in which you came to an appreciation of God‘s love and your personal relationship with Jesus Christ as well as your capacity to respond to God‘s love by sharing in Christ redemption mission in our world. Hopefully, you have felt supported and sustained during the spiritual adventures.

Now, you are invited to embark on a new journey as you incarnate God‘s love in the world through acts of service and companionship, to others. You will participate in building “colonies of heaven” which offer hope to our fellow creatures, both human and non-human. to respond to that invitation, and to fulfill the purposes, for which God created you, you need to find the sources of nourishment that will help you grow in your faith and in your confident ability to engage the challenges you will face.

Even though you will find companions along the way, your journey with God will remain unique to you. So, it will be important as you embark on this new adventure that you find the resources to deepen in your faith, prayer, and professional expertise. This involves considerations of the following topics.

Prayer

You will need to strengthen and regulate your habits of prayer in order that you remain in an intimate relationship with God and remain able to discern the actions in your lives, which will give glory to God.
